Caribbean Cruise

My brother Jesse asked me and Rodger to go on this cruise, we had been trying to get pregnant and weren’t sure if I would be pregnant or not or how far along I would be but we decided this would be the last big trip just the two of us before we started having kids. So we decided to go and to make it even better my Parents were going! I love spending time with my Mom and Dad I think because I am the youngest and I spent so much of my time with them we have always been the best of friends and I am so grateful for them they are amazing. So we headed off on the cruise and it just so happened to be our one year anniversary and valentine’s day all in the same week! We had so much fun and will always remember the trip! I was in my second trimester and wasn’t sick anymore it was the perfect time for us to go and to spend some time together before the baby comes.

Kolby Ray

I love being pregnant! I love to feel him move and I get scared when I don’t feel him move and it is like a tender mercy when he starts to hiccup or kick me and I know that he is safe…it brings a smile to my face when this little boy wiggles and kicks he makes me so happy! I can’t imagine the joy he is going to bring to me when he has arrived safely here on earth. Overwhelming yes but I am so excited to meet this little boy and love him with all my heart! Some things I already know about this little boy

*He is a early riser like his mom
*Loves to hear his dads voice
*Loves meat and cheese….that’s the Mickelsen in him
*Loves music especially Hymns
I am so excited to be a mom and am so grateful for the wonderful examples of Mothers I have had in my life

Sunday Will Come

I haven’t been able to go to church because I was put on bed rest and I missed it so much today being Easter I decided I could go and sit for an hour in Sacrament I am so grateful I did my spiritual basket was getting low and Satan is working hard on me. We had a great speaker she talked about how when the Savior was crucified on a Friday it was the darkest day that has ever been on this earth...as my mind began to wonder I thought of dark days in my life and in those that I love and then I thought of the Saviors dark day and how utterly alone he was hanging on that cross he felt every pain, sorrow, EVERYTHING we have ever felt and so much more and he did it for us.

The speaker told us about a utube video from Elder Worthlin http://youtu.be/xlc5RvmWN4s its amazing and gives you hope that even in the darkest of days and that “We will all have our Fridays….but Sunday will come” I am so grateful my Savior and his love to each of us
